Kansas City Mail Online is the Internet side of the One Crossroads Place BBS. We work primarally within the Galacticomm Software, but also supply web servers running under UNIX and NT. Many services are provided by the BBS in addition to basic Internet Services. Our system is menu or Icon driven and supports advanced client server features in addition to Internet Unix services. No shell accounts are provided at this time, as we are based primarally on NT.
KCMO/OCP has established strategic alliances with Grapevine, TFSnet and Metropolis to interlink sites and refer business based on specialization. Stategic alliances also exist with ATT, Sprint, the Consentric Research Network and the Assocaition of Online Professionals. Under development is a major online shopping mall and many Virtual BBS's run for other companies.
Recently added to the system are National, World and Technical News. Also Movie Reviews, Film, Video, and Music Reviews. Local input for Events and computer information and reporting. Under development is one of the most extensive Digital Libraries for reading e-texts, books and zines in the country.
Our site is also linked to over 150 of the largest and most influential BBS's in the world.
