LANGUAGE LIBRARY Files A - L
This subpage is shared by the Gibson Digital Library and William R. Eubank. It was developed as a software library between August and October of 1995 and is housed in the One Crossroads Place BBS located in Independence, Missouri. The programs are shareware, freeware and demo commercial products. If you download these programs from the BBS or the web site you should immediately read any text files included and follow the instructions as to installing and obligations assumed in using the programs.
The One Crossroads Place BBS is available via telnet (198.69.223.38) or dial up (913-663-1100). A demo account is available free to any individual and is good for 21 days. Teachers may apply to the CoSysop for a Professional Comp account or International account which is free for an additional 180 days.
I have moved all of the collection to the web side of the Gibson Digital Library for download as of 02-23-93. At a future date we also plan to make the programs available through FTP. Downloading from inside the BBS is much quicker than from the web side. If you discover any problem with downloading from either side please drop me a message eubankw@kcmo.comand I will try to make a correction as soon as possible. I have tried every one of these programs on my IBM PS/1 386sx25 (10 meg RAM) to the extent possible with satisfactory results. Several of the large Asian language programs really need a 486 to run fully.
I have a special interest in E.S.L. as you can tell from my home page. The bulletin board has many features that you may find useful. We use real names in our friendly chat rooms and I offer you or E.S.L. students an invitation to drop in and practice English.
Many of these programs may be useful to students in learning English (through a reverse process in using the program) or to ESL or EFL teachers in learning a foreign language. Enjoy!

Khmer-Khmer dictionary, sound, pictures and much
more - the very latest.
