I'm not very fond of Mario but if there is one devastating combo it is the turbo spin and coin punch combo.  Nothing gets me riled up like that annoying cha chinging money that seemingly comes from nowhere. His throw is really good for 3 or four player games.  Just press back after you grab and enemy and he'll swing them around before throwing them.
