THE WHITE HOUSE
WASHINGTON November 16, 1983
Dear Mr. Reese:
I am delighted with the sculpture which Gary
Nelson of Senator Dole's staff brought to the
White House on your behalf. Bighorn sheep
indeed roam my ranch and I certainly appreciate
your giving me your handsome rendering
of one of these magnificent animals. The
bronze will serve as a special reminder of a
particularly talented friend in the Sunflower
State. Many thanks.
It means a lot to me to know that I can count
on your support. I truly admire your spirit
and thought you might like to have the enclosed
photograph. This print comes with my
best wishes for the same happiness you give to
everyone fortunate enough to benefit from your
work.
Sincerely,

Ronald Reagan
