This site is based on the WebSite(tm) software from O'Reilly & Associates.
This particular server is based on a custom designed machine by Graeme Gibson the president of Computer Training Corporation and Host of the TV show Computers Today. The CPU is a NexGen 586 running at 100 Mhz, using 24 MB of ram and connected to 2 Novell file servers, and 2 communications servers. It is running Windows NT server and is connected to the Internet and our own private Intranets forming the online service Crossroads U.S.A.
Together with 7 other computers this site forms our part of the Super Cyber Place Complex. It is co-located with the BBS's of One Crossroads Place and Kansas City Mail Online, that we run and the Metropolis BBS's run by Metropolis Systems. We are further co-located with Sysop News BBS and several virtual BBS's including the Gibson Digital Library and The Energy Network by KCPL.
